The training

This will take place during a year-long internship programme based in the UK, and including overseas trips.

We're excited by this unique package, stacked full of opportunities. We partner with a number of great ministries in the UK and abroad, allowing you to get involved in things like cross-cultural evangelism and drug-rehabilitation.

To further enthuse you for world mission, we will take you on a trip overseas for a full-on mission experience, seeing what it really feels (and smells!) like. We'll join with some of our WEC teams 'on the ground' to see what it's really like.

Alongside these ministries will be the ongoing task of creatively engaging with people your age promoting God's worldwide purposes. That's where we get to learn from you. You see, you know how to connect better with them than we do. We won't dictate how this will happen. We're trusting that God will inspire you to use the gifts and abilities he's given you to be able to communicate his passion to the young adults he is so passionate about.

Together, with the Holy Spirit, we can influence this generation. 100 years ago, WEC's founder CT Studd wrote booklets and printed posters to engage with his contemporaries. He used some choice language in his day, such as: 'Cannibals Need Missionaries.'

Significant training and spiritual formation will also take place on an informal level, through mentoring and through day-to-day community living. You'll have highs and lows over the course of the year; that's only natural. That's where walking the journey alongide others is so important, and applying truth to reality becomes so authentic. At Bulstrode, the WEC community engages in regular intercession for the world and in worship of the Saviour of the world. You'll join in as part of the community.
